Our condelesences go out to the entire Obama family regarding the passing of his grandmother. Although we disagree on our politics, we can agree on civility.
May God rest her soul. It couldn't have been easy raising a grandson who classified her as a "typical white person".
Neither of my grandmothers were "typical". They were very special - if to no one else - to me. They were "Depression-Dust Bowl" wives/mothers who had true grit and could handle a squirrel gun.
I'm certain Obama's grandmother was far from typical, and had more balls than the Big Empty O wil ever have.
